COMMON FEATURES
Size 2 bag filters
This is the most common size of bag filter used extensively throughout the UK and Europe in industrial and utility applications.
Samples can be provided for any particular application.
Materials and compatibility
All size 2 bag filters are made from high quality polypropylene felt with FDA approval
Neck ring
The neck ring of the bag is very important. This ensures it locates properly in the housing and is securely held in operation. A variety of sealing rings are available to suit the application
Filter ratings
The ratings available are 1, 5, 10, 20 and, 50 and 100 micron
Polypropylene welded neck ring
In this option a moulded PP neck ring is welded to the bag. Handles are provided for removal of the filter from the housing. This is the preferred option for high salinity systems (e.g. ion exchange regeneration circuits) or high purity systems where corrosion of metal inserts could be problematic.
Zinc or stainless steel neck ring
This offers the ultimate in security where the bag may be subject to very high differential pressure. Choose zinc where the time of deployment is less than six months and the fluid to be filtered is non aggressive. Otherwise choose stainless steel
